Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Platform (Vice President) (Power BI/Microsoft Fabric): Governing and optimizing an enterprise Power BI platform for regulated banking analytics with an accent on platform administration, data modeling, controlled deployments, and SQL-based integration. Focus on Python and Jenkins automation, Fabric capacity performance, secure report delivery, and coordinating technical changes across data, infrastructure, security, and business teams.

What you will do
- Govern and maintain the enterprise Power BI platform, including Power BI Service, Microsoft Fabric capacity, workspaces, gateways, access controls, and platform standards.
- Lead development practices for Power BI reports, semantic models, dataflows, and dashboards.
- Write, review, and optimize SQL for data from Starburst/Trino, AWS data services, on-premises databases, and other enterprise platforms.
- Manage controlled report deployments through Python automation, Jenkins workflows, release coordination, and source-control alignment.
- Monitor and improve platform reliability, refresh performance, report responsiveness, capacity usage, and user experience.
- Coordinate platform changes, migrations, integrations, and secure analytics delivery with data engineering, infrastructure, security, governance, and business teams.
Requirements
- At least 8–10 years of relevant work experience.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Report Server, Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, and Microsoft Fabric capacity administration.
- Strong data modeling and SQL skills, including SQL for Starburst/Trino and AWS data services.
- Experience with Python scripting, Jenkins-based Power BI deployments, and Bitbucket source-code management.
- Experience with SSRS and Microsoft business tools, including Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, planning, mentoring, problem-solving, and delivery coordination skills in a regulated environment.
