Market Place Assistant (Power Derivatives): Supporting daily operations of the Nordic power derivatives marketplace and Exchange Desk with an accent on end-of-day routines, trading-system verification, customer service, and recurring reporting. Focus on operating the marketplace, improving operational tools, analyzing market activities, and maintaining reliable exchange services during CET trading hours.
Location: Regular onsite work from the office in Lysaker, Norway. Core hours are 14:45–18:30 CET, with work within 07:30–18:30 CET during holidays, summer, and other periods as needed.

, together with Nord Pool, operates exchange services supporting Nordic power derivatives and the European electricity market.
What you will do
- Support the Exchange Desk with end-of-day routines, price management, and end-of-day analysis.
- Operate the marketplace and help maintain efficient daily exchange operations.
- Improve operational processes and tools used for day-to-day activities.
- Coordinate with other departments to support excellent customer service.
- Learn how trading systems work and assist with verification processes.
- Own recurring reporting and analysis tasks and contribute to ad-hoc operational activities.
Requirements
- Current student with at least two years remaining in studies related to economics, finance, energy, or a similar field.
- Strong communication, time-management, numerical, relationship-building, and customer-service skills.
- Accurate, reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a results-driven environment.
- Comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent written and spoken English and one Scandinavian language.
- Availability for regular onsite work in Lysaker and the required CET working hours.
