What you will do
- Create keyframe and motion-capture animation for humanoid and creature characters.
- Deliver high-quality animation assets with minimal Lead Artist supervision.
- Communicate task progress and obtain guidance and approvals from the Lead Artist.
- Refine animation skills and learn new software packages and in-house tools.
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented production environment.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Maya, MotionBuilder, or 3ds Max, including the appropriate use of each tool.
- Familiarity with game engine technologies such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
- Good understanding of posing, timing, spacing, and exaggeration.
- Experience with motion-capture post-processing, overlay animation, retargeting, story, and constraints.
- Ability to receive constructive feedback, communicate effectively, and work independently within a team.
- Flexibility in using different software packages.
