QA Engineer (Mobile Applications and Web Services)

hirify.global is hiring a QA engineer for the KVN team to ensure product quality across web services and mobile applications.

What you will do

• Work with product, design, and engineering teams to understand requirements and own test planning and execution.
• Review product requirements and engineering designs, providing feedback before implementation.
• Plan releases, identify dependencies, and verify backward compatibility.
• Coordinate with DevOps on product releases and measure release impact.
• Reproduce production bugs in staging and support urgent troubleshooting and fixes.
• Define and implement QA best practices and process improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in manual and automated testing of web services and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, computer science fundamentals, and testing practices including white-box, black-box, and regression testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Excellent MySQL knowledge and intermediate experience writing automation suites in any programming language.
• Understanding of HTTP, web services, OAuth, RESTful APIs, Jenkins automation scripts, and Git.
• Good communication, attention to detail, teamwork, humility, passion, and self-motivation.
