Graphic Design Intern

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid work with an average of four days per week in the office

What you will do

• Assist senior designers and art directors with social media graphics, web banners, presentations, print materials, and other campaign assets.
• Prepare design files for production and client presentations.
• Research design trends, competitors, and visual references to support creative concepts.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to creative briefs.
• Organize design assets and project files while applying brand guidelines consistently.
• Support the creative department and gain exposure to the process from concept through execution.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
• The internship must be a mandatory requirement of the academic program.
• Must be a Malaysian citizen or have the legal right to work in Malaysia without visa sponsorship.
• Understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory, with a portfolio demonstrating design potential and creative thinking.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Figma or other UI/UX design tools.
• Interest in current design trends and the ability to accept constructive feedback.
