Location: On-site in Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

  • Develop advanced analytics and AI solutions for the Logistics Cross Border Optimization Center of Excellence.
  • Perform tariff assessments, including pre-entry and post-entry reviews.
  • Analyze customs and HTS data using data modeling, automation, predictive analytics, and decision-support tools.
  • Create tariff forecasts, reconcile monthly spending, identify spending drivers, and lead cost-saving initiatives.
  • Analyze business processes and supply chain dependencies to identify improvements.
  • Manage multiple projects, stakeholder collaboration, benchmarking, analysis, and system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 1–2 years of supply chain experience in transportation and/or warehousing.
  • Strong analytical and data-mining skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, Access, Python, and Power BI.
  • Experience with predictive modeling, statistics, machine learning, data mining, data visualization, and structured and unstructured data analysis.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl, as well as advanced analytics, HANA, and Hadoop.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, prioritization, stakeholder-management, and multitasking skills.
