What you’ll do

• Design and maintain the vision to deploy systems and tooling to address security engineering and operations for the company.
• Build, coach, and mentor the team responsible for implementing various tools and controls.
• Ensure systems are secure and robust to meet requirements for various regulatory requirements.
• Apply technical leadership and expertise to both your team and across Security Engineering and Security Operations.
• Work with other engineering managers to refine and improve Robinhood's processes and systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a full-time engineering manager and 5+ years in hands-on technical roles, with a track record of leading high-impact engineering initiatives.
• Effective communication skills across multiple functions, facilitating collaboration with engineering, security, and business teams.
• Proficient in systems engineering, with a focus on building and operating resilient framework and infrastructure to support third-party (3P) security tools and services.
• Experience applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance across integrated security platforms.
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices—such as Terraform and CloudFormation—for codifying configurations and managing secure, scalable, and auditable infrastructure.
