GC/GCMS Technical Solution Specialist

Location: Chungli, Taiwan. On-site customer support and travel are required. The role description states travel up to 50% of the time; additional details state 10%.

What you will do

• Provide application consultation, on-site support, and demonstrations of GC/GCMS technologies and workflow solutions.
• Develop and execute GC/GCMS solution strategies based on industry trends, regulations, applications, competition, and market opportunities.
• Analyze customer challenges, design and perform sample tests, interpret results, and communicate the technical and business value of proposed solutions.
• Support solution development, instrument acceptance, customer training, method optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and service teams to identify business opportunities and support growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, Food Science, Environmental Science, or a related scientific field.
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience with GC/MS technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of the GC/GCMS market, applications, and competitive technologies.
• Strong teamwork, independent working, organization, communication, and task-prioritization skills.
• Fluent Chinese with excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

• Experience collaborating with companies in the semiconductor industry.
