Company

hirify.global is a manufacturer-to-consumer retail brand offering apparel, accessories, home goods, and other essentials through direct manufacturing partnerships, proprietary technology, AI, and analytics.

What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end specialty-fiber supply chain from raw fiber through finished yarn, connecting sourcing, production, quality, design, and product teams.
  • Build and develop a supplier ecosystem covering mills, dehairers, spinners, dye houses, farms, and herder cooperatives.
  • Define quality-management systems, testing protocols, approval workflows, and technical benchmarks for specialty fibers, yarns, and finished goods.
  • Drive traceability, certification, supplier compliance, root-cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions across the supply chain.
  • Evaluate multi-sourcing, nearshoring, vertical integration, and cost-leadership opportunities while advising executives on market, geopolitical, and climate risks.
  • Translate design and merchandising concepts into manufacturable technical briefs and lead blind panels for luxury-fiber perception and color validation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Textile Science, Fiber Engineering, Material Science, Supply Chain Management, Color Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in specialty-fiber sourcing, yarn production, quality management, or coloration for apparel, accessories, or home textiles.
  • Deep technical knowledge of cashmere, merino, yak, alpaca, cotton, and woolen and worsted spinning processes.
  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced retail or manufacturing environment, including mentoring and talent development.
  • Strong cost-per-kilogram modeling, yield optimization, landed-cost analysis, budget-management, quality-standard, and supplier-compliance skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with sustainable fibers and supply-chain traceability, including blockchain or digital tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems and quality database management.
  • Luxury-goods experience with an understanding of premium aesthetics, handfeel, and trend forecasting.

Culture & Benefits

  • Mission-driven environment focused on making high-quality essentials more affordable and sustainable.
  • Fast-paced, data-informed culture centered on challenging conventional retail practices and solving difficult problems.
  • Opportunity to work across global manufacturing and supply-chain partners.
  • Bonus and equity may be available for eligible roles.
  • Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check.
