What you will do

• Establish a unique visual identity and style for the user interface of an early-stage R&D game.
• Create balanced, intuitive interfaces with strong readability, hierarchy, and awareness of player and platform behavior.
• Plan UI work and guide artists and designers in developing the creative vision.
• Create visual assets from initial concepts through in-game implementation.
• Develop style guides and conventions that extend themes consistently across the project.
• Set and maintain the visual design quality bar while collaborating with engineers, designers, producers, and artists.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience as a Visual Designer, UI Designer, or UI Artist.
• Hands-on experience contributing to a major feature, game, product launch, or entertainment property through visual communication design.
• Expert knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Knowledge of game development pipelines, including optimization, localization, and implementation.
• Experience shipping games in Unreal, Unity, or another relevant game engine.
• Portfolio demonstrating contemporary graphic design taste and a strong artistic style.

Nice to have

• Experience developing brand identities, logos, and brand kits.
• Secondary expertise in motion graphics, illustration, animation, or modeling.
