Head Rare XLSD Marketing (Rare Disease/AI): Leading portfolio brand strategy, commercial execution, and cross-functional marketing for Sanofi’s U.S. rare disease franchise with an accent on digital transformation, patient education, KOL engagement, and AI-enabled marketing. Focus on building LLM marketing capabilities, scaling omnichannel campaigns, managing a multidisciplinary team, and coordinating global, medical, finance, and patient advocacy partnerships.

What you will do
- Own portfolio vision, brand strategy, forecasting, supply planning, and commercial execution across the Rare/xLSD franchise.
- Lead a multidisciplinary marketing organization covering portfolio strategy, account marketing, patient experience, digital innovation, congresses, KOL engagement, speaker bureau, and operations.
- Build AI and large language model marketing capabilities and transition the franchise toward a fully digital marketing model.
- Oversee omnichannel programs across websites, paid and organic media, SEO, geo-targeting, CRM, social media, and representative-triggered email.
- Partner with U.S. and global leaders, Finance, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Patient Advocacy, and Programs teams.
- Manage budgets, resourcing, organizational capability, talent development, and operational excellence across the portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Extensive pharmaceutical or biotech marketing experience, preferably in rare disease, specialty, or orphan drug marketing.
- Senior-level people leadership and cross-functional influence, including collaboration with global brand teams.
- Experience with digital transformation, patient advocacy, patient community programs, and KOL relationship management.
- Familiarity with Veeva, CRM systems, 1Rare.Ai, IQVIA, and social media platforms, plus experience managing complex budgets and multi-brand operations.
- Experience managing multiple brands across disease areas or indications and scaling AI-enabled marketing capabilities is preferred.
