Content & Social Contractor (CrossFit)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; on-site. Travel to selected FloElite events is required, including nights and weekends when live competitions require coverage.

hirify.global is a sports media company delivering live event coverage, news, highlights, statistics, rankings, and athlete and team profiles across more than a dozen sports verticals.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day content ideation, production, and publishing for FloElite social channels.
• Build content plans around CrossFit competitions, athletes, rivalries, and storylines to drive viewership and subscriptions.
• Cover live competitions in real time by identifying key moments, clipping footage, and publishing social content throughout events.
• Turn full-event replays into highlights, short-form clips, compilations, athlete-focused content, and other formats.
• Maintain an active social presence between competitions using athlete stories, evergreen content, archival footage, trends, and relevant CrossFit narratives.
• Coordinate with hirify.global teams on event priorities, assets, marketing needs, and promotional plans.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of CrossFit, functional fitness competitions, athletes, events, and the broader community.
• Experience creating social-first sports content, especially short-form video and real-time event coverage.
• Ability to identify compelling live-competition moments and quickly turn them into engaging social content.
• Experience independently managing social content from concept through publication.
• Strong video instincts and the ability to work independently while owning a sports vertical's social presence.
• Willingness to travel for selected events and work nights and weekends when coverage requires it.

• Video shooting and editing experience.
