Manager, Data Analytics - Engineering & Platform (GCP/BigQuery)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; primary location at 1940 Argentia Rd, Mississauga, ON. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Salary: CAD 91,900–126,390 per year, determined based on relevant experience.

What you will do

• Own and manage the GCP/BigQuery data platform for reporting and consumption datasets.
• Design, optimize, and govern reliable, high-quality, and performant data assets.
• Develop data standards, dimensional models, consumption layers, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Improve query performance, BigQuery cost efficiency, reporting infrastructure, and automation.
• Enable self-service reporting, support other departments, and maintain analytics-tool vendor relationships.
• Collaborate across business units and present data-driven recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Expertise in GCP and BigQuery architecture.
• Experience with data modeling, including dimensional and consumption-layer design.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong SQL and query performance optimization skills.
• Knowledge of BigQuery cost optimization, resource management, data governance, and cloud-native data engineering practices.
• Leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.
