What you will do

• Build and own asset- and platform-level financial models covering development and operating cash flows, project finance debt, joint venture waterfalls, returns, and sensitivities.
• Draft investment memoranda and Investment Committee presentations, translating diligence findings into investment cases with risks and mitigants.
• Lead defined commercial, technical, legal, tax, and insurance diligence workstreams with external advisers.
• Support capital structuring and debt raising through lender materials, downside cases, covenant analysis, and debt service coverage analysis.
• Maintain market research on supply, demand, rents, yields, land pricing, comparable transactions, buyer appetite, and exit routes across Southeast Asia.
• Support portfolio value creation and origination through performance reviews, asset-level initiatives, opportunity screening, and early-stage pricing analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in investment banking or private equity; consulting and relevant operating experience may also be considered.
• Ability to build, audit, and stress-test complex financial models from a blank sheet with minimal guidance.
• Strong accounting knowledge, financial statement analysis, analytical ability, commercial judgment, and professional maturity.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong PowerPoint and Word skills.
• Verbal and written fluency in English and comfort with regular travel across Southeast Asia.

Nice to have

• CFA Level II or Level III candidacy, charterholder status, or comparable quantitative training.
• Exposure to real estate, infrastructure, project finance, development, construction, or operating assets.
• Experience working with external advisers, lenders, or joint venture partners.
• Additional Southeast Asian language skills, including Vietnamese, Bahasa Malaysia or Indonesia, Thai, or Mandarin.
