Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin & AWS)

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and enhance production-grade native Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android practices.
• Translate technical requirements into scalable solutions with Architects and Engineering Managers.
• Integrate mobile applications with APIs, AWS cloud services, SDKs, external platforms, and backend systems.
• Build automated tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Android application delivery.
• Troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production environments while improving application user experience.
• Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams and communicate technical decisions, risks, progress, and trade-offs.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience developing production native Android applications.
• Deep hands-on experience with Kotlin and strong knowledge of Android architecture, application lifecycle, and software design patterns.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with APIs, SDKs, cloud services, and backend systems.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and automation.
• Experience writing, reviewing, deploying, and troubleshooting production-quality code.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and strong written and verbal English communication.

Nice to have

• Java experience supporting or modernizing legacy Android applications.
• Experience with mobile attribution, analytics, deep linking, third-party SDKs, Firebase, or AppsFlyer.
• Experience with CDP or customer-data integrations and marketing technology initiatives.
• Experience with React, Node, TypeScript, Python, Generative AI, or UI/UX.
