Location: Remote - Canada

Base salary: $140,000–$155,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Build backend services and frontend components for complete product experiences.
• Contribute to an incrementality product as it develops into a scalable experimentation platform.
• Build near-real-time data ingestion and processing capabilities beyond batch workflows.
• Develop AI-powered workflows that help marketers evaluate performance and act on insights.
• Improve connection-state systems and extend partner integrations for data ingestion and exports.
• Contribute to product areas such as role-based access control and frontend delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building backend services, APIs, or data processing systems in Python.
• Exposure to distributed systems or microservices and an understanding of larger architectures.
• Experience owning implementations from defined product requirements through production.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and data scientists.
• Ability to investigate unfamiliar datasets and interconnected tables, trace dependencies, and solve production issues.
• Working frontend experience with React and TypeScript; deep frontend specialization is not required.

Nice to have

• Data-intensive backend engineering experience combined with shipped frontend work.
• Experience in a fast-moving or early-stage environment.
• A generalist mindset across backend, frontend, pipelines, and infrastructure.
