TL;DR
Senior Automation Engineer (AI) (Ansible/Terraform): Designing and operating scalable infrastructure automation across compute and cloud domains with an accent on IaC, observability-driven remediation, and governance-compliant workflows. Focus on building closed-loop automation with Dynatrace, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, ROMS, and Ansible while implementing approval gates, validation, and recovery controls.
Location: Cairo, Egypt; in-person collaboration is prioritized

What you will do
- Design, deploy, and maintain reusable infrastructure automation frameworks using Ansible and Terraform.
- Develop enterprise playbooks for operating system provisioning, patching, storage, backup, monitoring, and recovery.
- Integrate automation with Jenkins, CI/CD toolchains, Git, approval workflows, and ServiceNow.
- Build observability-driven remediation flows using Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Bridge AIOps, ROMS, and Ansible.
- Implement diagnostic, change, approval, back-out, post-validation, and evidence-tracking workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with monitoring, ITSM, and automation teams within an Agile/Scrum squad.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in IT automation, including leadership in IaC delivery.
- Expertise in Ansible, Terraform, Python, and PowerShell.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, OS provisioning, backup, and performance automation.
- Knowledge of DXC ROMS, RHEL, PostgreSQL, Jenkins pipelines, Git-versioned Ansible playbooks, and high-availability deployment.
- Experience with Dynatrace closed-loop automation, SolarWinds-triggered network automation, and approval-gated remediation.
- Bilingual Arabic and English proficiency is required. A bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science is required.
Nice to have
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification.
- Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform certification.
- ITIL v4 certification.
