Trading Surveillance Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands; based in the Amsterdam office

Salary: €60,000–€90,000 per year, based on experience

hirify.global is a proprietary trading firm specializing in market making, volatility trading, and arbitrage across major global exchanges, including traditional financial markets and digital assets.

What you will do

• Monitor trading activity to identify, assess, and escalate potential compliance risks.
• Investigate and document alerts generated by surveillance systems.
• Refine and calibrate surveillance rules and thresholds.
• Build and improve the surveillance stack using third-party tools and in-house systems.
• Support regulatory requests, audits, inspections, internal reviews, and compliance reporting.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in law, finance, economics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory work, or a related quantitative role.
• Experience working with large volumes of trading and system data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; basic SQL or Python for data analysis is beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in financial markets, trading, and market structure.
• Fluent English required; Dutch is beneficial but not required.
