What you will do
- Supervise and coordinate the implementation, monitoring, and quality assurance of programmes and projects.
- Coordinate programme strategies, project design, resource mobilization, budgets, progress reports, and financial documentation.
- Develop policies, strategies, national protocols, guidelines, and technical cooperation initiatives.
- Build partnerships and negotiate funding agreements and project proposals with governments, international organizations, private-sector, and civil-society partners.
- Lead emergency and resilience programming, including needs assessments, field missions, implementation, and coordination with the Food Security Cluster and UN partners.
- Monitor and promote the quality implementation of unconditional cash, cash-for-work, and coupon-transfer components.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, public administration, social science, political science, or a related field.
- At least seven years of relevant experience in programme or project management, administration, or related areas.
- Working proficiency in English and intermediate knowledge of another official language: Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish.
- Experience with technical cooperation projects, emergency and resilience programmes, programme formulation, planning, implementation, and results-based management.
- Experience working with international donors and development partners, preparing funding proposals, monitoring budgets, and producing donor-specific financial reports.
- Experience in more than one location or area of work, particularly in field positions, is desirable.
Nice to have
- Working proficiency in French.
- Experience in Level 3 or scale-up emergency environments.
- Strong understanding of policies and programmes.
