Legal Engineer (AI)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; office-based five days per week with some travel across the Middle East

Legora provides an AI-native workspace that helps legal professionals analyse documents and run end-to-end legal workflows.

What you will do

• Translate legal workflows into practical Legora use cases and validate outputs against professional standards.
• Run client demos, workshops, onboarding, training, pilots and rollouts for law firms and in-house legal teams.
• Define success measures, manage project dependencies and report accurately on rollout progress.
• Build trusted relationships with lawyers, partners, general counsels and legal operations leaders.
• Capture product gaps and regional requirements, including Arabic-language and local legal needs, for the Product team.
• Create reusable templates, guides, recordings and playbooks while collaborating with Go-to-Market and Engagement teams.

Requirements

• Legal qualification and substantive legal experience from a law firm or in-house legal function.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to lawyers and legal realities to technical colleagues.
• Strong product curiosity and interest in generative AI; software engineering experience is not required.
• Structured project, programme and stakeholder management skills.
• Based in Dubai and able to work from the office five days per week, with regional travel.

Nice to have

• Arabic language skills, which are strongly preferred for the Middle Eastern market.
• Experience with legal operations, legal technology, innovation or transformation initiatives.
• Experience leading knowledge, product adoption or workflow improvement programmes.
