Secure Coding Engineer (Secure Coding)

What you will do

• Maintain and improve the bank’s secure software development posture and secure coding standards.
• Triage, analyse, and prioritise findings from SAST and SCA tools, including Fortify and Nexus Lifecycle.
• Explain vulnerability impact and support developers in resolving security findings in their code.
• Fine-tune security rulesets to reduce false positives and improve finding quality.
• Contribute to internal security tooling, including the Repository Scanner (RESC).
• Assess emerging risks such as AI-driven attacks and agentic development, and share security guidance across development teams.

Requirements

• Experience in secure coding and/or application security.
• Strong software development experience in at least one programming language.
• Experience with SAST and SCA tools such as Fortify, Nexus Lifecycle, or similar.
• Experience analysing, triaging, and prioritising software security findings.
• Ability to work effectively with developers and explain technical security topics clearly.
• Fluent English and experience in a large corporate environment required.
