Treasury Settlements Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Gibraltar; Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend on-call and UK bank holiday work.

hirify.global is hiring for its Payments team to support treasury and settlement operations.

What you will do

• Process daily crypto and fiat settlements and identify defaulting parties.
• Approve cryptocurrency withdrawals across internal and third-party custody platforms.
• Authorise fiat payments through banking platforms and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor counterparty and trading-member exposure, investigate shortfalls, and resolve settlement issues.
• Produce reporting and root-cause analysis while supporting operational risk controls and process improvements.
• Monitor payment flows, identify anomalies, escalate issues, and coordinate corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in payments, banking, financial operations, settlements, or reconciliations is desirable.
• Strong numerical, analytical, organisational, and time-management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and time zones.
• Proactive approach to issue escalation, procedure compliance, and operational risk management.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel macros.
• Knowledge of payment processing systems, treasury management systems, or online banking portals.
