Electrical AVR Control Systems Coordinator (AVR)

Location: São Paulo and Jundiaí, Brazil; travel approximately 30%–40% domestically and internationally.

What you will do

• Design customized excitation system solutions for synchronous generators and motors.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, evaluate customer specifications, estimate engineering effort, and support bid preparation.
• Coordinate engineering activities across project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Configure, test, and support excitation systems and related control platforms.
• Execute Factory Acceptance Tests, support commissioning and startup, and provide technical expertise during operation.
• Investigate system issues, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and drive technical standardization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Solid experience with AVR controls and excitation systems for synchronous machines.
• Experience in electrical system design, engineering, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and problem-solving.
• Experience coordinating engineering projects, managing technical deliverables, and supporting scope, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and risk mitigation.
• Experience with technical proposals, tender responses, project bids, Factory Acceptance Tests, commissioning, startup, and field service activities.
• Fluent English communication skills, written and verbal, are mandatory. Ability to work with customers, vendors, project managers, supply chain stakeholders, and international multidisciplinary teams; willingness to travel 30%–40%.
