TL;DR
Manual QC (Middle/Senior) (API and Database Testing): Designing and executing manual test cases for functional, regression, system, integration, API, and database testing with an accent on test coverage, data integrity, and defect tracking. Focus on validating end-to-end system behavior, clarifying requirements with cross-functional teams, and improving testing processes for software products.

What you will do

  • Design and execute manual test cases based on business and system requirements.
  • Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios with sufficient coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, system, integration, API, and database testing.
  • Record test results, prepare testing reports, and track defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and business teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Support end-to-end testing across systems and environments and contribute to improving test processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Middle level: 3.5+ years of experience; Senior level: 6–8 years of experience in software testing or manual QC.
  • Strong hands-on experience in API testing and database testing.
  • Solid knowledge of the Software Development Testing Life Cycle.
  • Senior candidates must have experience in the insurance domain.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the insurance domain or experience with Ingenium.
  • For Middle candidates without insurance experience, availability to onboard early, preferably in early October.
