Unity Developer (Porting & LiveOps)

Location: hirify.global operates studios in Riga, Latvia, and Vilnius, Lithuania.

Salary: €1,800–€4,000 gross per month, depending on experience.

hirify.global is a video game developer creating games for PC, mobile, VR, and console platforms.

What you will do

• Port VR games from Meta Quest to SteamVR, PlayStation VR2, and Pico, including Chinese versions.
• Port PC games to PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo platforms.
• Synchronize content, features, and updates across platform builds.
• Fix platform-specific bugs, update SDKs, prepare builds, and support certification.
• Integrate and maintain localized versions across platforms.
• Create marketing features, scenes, animations, UI elements, prototypes, and playable builds for promotional activities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Unity and C#.
• Experience contributing to the release of at least one game.
• Ability to understand an existing codebase and make changes without breaking the project.
• Independence, adaptability, and the ability to switch between projects and task types.
• Practical, solution-oriented approach and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience developing VR games with Unity.
• Experience releasing games on consoles or multiple VR platforms.
• Knowledge of certification requirements and platform-specific SDKs.
• Experience with Chinese platforms, stores, or regional builds.
