Algorithm Developer (Computer Vision)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; onsite role

What you will do

• Develop computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms.
• Define software specifications and deliver production code against project milestones.
• Integrate algorithms into large systems across hardware and software components.
• Collaborate with algorithm development, applications, systems, physics, software, and qualification groups to understand customer requirements and system constraints.
• Support algorithm proliferation and deployment at customer sites through customer-facing activities.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Physics, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 3+ years of industrial experience as an algorithm developer.
• Strong theoretical and hands-on experience with computer vision and machine learning algorithms.
• Thorough understanding of probability and statistics.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; moderate English skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with image processing and deep learning.
• Understanding of imaging systems and physics.
