TL;DR
Senior Financial Analyst (Payments): Delivering financial planning, analysis, reporting, and client deal modelling for Visaβs markets in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman with an accent on budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and risk-adjusted returns. Focus on modelling incentive deals, evaluating business cases, tracking deal performance, and solving complex financial and governance challenges across a matrix organization.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do
- Produce business-driver analysis for strategic planning, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year growth plans.
- Analyze volume trends, product mix, pricing, interchange, market development, revenue, and investment opportunities across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman.
- Model client incentive deals and business cases, prepare approval documentation, and assess financial viability, risks, and execution requirements.
- Track executed deals, reforecast contra-revenues, and provide management with timely performance analysis.
- Lead expense planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance tracking, and guidance for cost-center managers.
- Partner with Legal, Client Contract Management, Controlling, sales, and other stakeholders to maintain governance, compliance, data integrity, and accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 5 years of post-qualification finance experience.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, financial modelling, modelling techniques, and managing large data sets.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and business communication skills.
- Fluent written and spoken business English required.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders in a complex, matrixed, multinational organization and deliver time-sensitive results.
Nice to have
- Accounting degree or professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with the cards business and payment revenue streams.
- Experience leading process improvement projects.
- Proficiency in local languages.
