Cyber Security Architect (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in Athens, Attica, Greece

What you will do

• Define and evolve security reference architectures, technical patterns, and security baselines for on-premises and cloud environments.
• Review system, application, and cloud designs; create threat models and risk-based security recommendations.
• Design and maintain security architectures for PAM, PKI, CSPM, identity, and other core security platforms.
• Embed security controls into the SDLC, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Configure, integrate, harden, and tune security controls and cloud security platforms in hands-on operational work.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, remediation, detection engineering, and security control tuning with SOC and SIEM operations.

Requirements

• MSc in Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of relevant cybersecurity experience in security architecture, cloud security engineering, or cybersecurity engineering.
• Strong hands-on technical experience is mandatory, including direct configuration, integration, and implementation of security controls and platforms.
• Experience designing and configuring security solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• At least two relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CCSP, SC-100, AZ-500, SC-200, AWS Security Specialty, SABSA, TOGAF, or CEH.
• Fluent English is required.
