Internship - Competition Economics (April 2027 Start)

Location: Brussels, Belgium; work involves the Brussels and Paris offices.

What you will do

• Conduct industry, subject matter, and academic research to support competition economics cases.
• Collect, organize, and analyze real client datasets using statistical techniques.
• Develop economic and statistical models based on economic theory and industry-specific considerations.
• Assemble evidence that supports expert opinions and communicate analytical findings.
• Work with consultants and experts to solve complex client problems.
• Participate in onboarding, training, professional events, and office activities.

Requirements

• Currently completing a Master's degree in Economics or a related field.
• Interest in competition economics and knowledge of theoretical or empirical microeconomics and industrial organization.
• Ability to work with data, address conceptual issues, and propose creative solutions.
• Ability to write simple, self-explanatory code in Stata and/or R.
• Effective written and spoken English communication is required.
• Teamwork, intellectual curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, or another language.
