Staff Software Engineer (iOS)

Location: Hybrid working from Warsaw or Kraków, Poland

InPost Group operates a European out-of-home delivery network and is building OneApp, a unified consumer application across multiple markets.

What you will do

• Set iOS technical direction across several mobile teams and domains.
• Drive consolidation of separate market applications into OneApp on a shared codebase.
• Define architecture, modularisation, ownership, contribution, review, and quality standards.
• Lead migration planning for Swift 6 strict concurrency and incremental UIKit-to-SwiftUI adoption.
• Publish ADRs, RFCs, technical proposals, roadmaps, and costed technical-debt remediation plans.
• Mentor senior engineers and collaborate with Android, backend, platform, QA, product, and engineering leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of production iOS experience with Staff, Principal, or whole-platform technical leadership scope.
• Experience shipping multi-market or white-label applications from a shared codebase.
• Deep Swift, modern concurrency, UIKit, SwiftUI, databases, modularisation, and mobile architecture experience.
• Knowledge of mobile security, including SSL pinning, App Attest, App Check, DeviceCheck, OAuth, Keychain, and secrets management.
• Experience with SPM, CocoaPods, binary SDKs, technical standards, testing policies, and cross-team engineering processes.
• Ability to make business-informed technical decisions, resolve disagreement, build consensus, and mentor senior engineers.

• CI/CD and release automation with GitLab CI, Fastlane, TestFlight, quality gates, and multi-market pipelines.
• macOS CI infrastructure, Xcode and simulator management, signing, certificates, and reproducible runners.
• Testing at scale, observability, performance profiling, design systems, accessibility, and adaptive layouts.
• Apple Watch, CarPlay, App Clips, notification extensions, code generation, payments or fintech SDKs, and Android ecosystem familiarity.
• Hands-on use of Claude, Copilot, or Grok for AI-assisted engineering and verification of generated code.
