Assistant Accountant - Fund Services (Fintech)

Location: Moka, Mauritius; hybrid working arrangement

What you will do

• Maintain accurate accounting records and process transactions for an assigned portfolio of clients.
• Post bookkeeping entries and support the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, loan, and bank transactions.
• Perform bank, investment, and other reconciliations to maintain the integrity of client financial information.
• Assist with VAT returns, basic tax filings, and simple financial statements.
• Build client relationships, collaborate with colleagues across jurisdictions, and handle confidential information professionally.

Requirements

• Completed ACCA Level 2 and/or a first degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Ability to learn NAV, E-front, and Value Financials software.
• Strong accuracy, confidentiality, integrity, and client-service skills.
