TL;DR
Controller Brazil (Finance & Accounting): Leading accounting, controllership, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial operations for Pall do Brasil in accordance with US GAAP and BR GAAP, with an accent on local regulatory requirements, SAP, and financial reporting. Focus on managing accounting close, coordinating finance services, supporting internal controls and audits, and implementing Brazil tax-related developments.

Location: On-site in Diadema, São Paulo, Brazil

Travel: Approximately 20% availability required

What you will do

  • Lead accounting and controllership activities for the Pall do Brasil entity.
  • Manage BR GAAP and US GAAP accounting close, statutory reports, and OneStream financial reporting.
  • Coordinate Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and Treasury processes with local finance teams.
  • Support SAP implementation projects and developments, including Brazil tax reform initiatives.
  • Analyze operating results and recommend cost reductions and profit improvements.
  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance according to Brazilian legislation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; postgraduate education is desirable.
  • 10–15 years of progressively responsible experience in US GAAP accounting, finance, costs, and inventory.
  • At least 3–5 years of finance team management experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP and the Project Systems (PS) module.
  • Experience with internal controls, SOX, and internal audit support.
  • Knowledge of Brazilian statutory requirements and tax compliance.

Nice to have

  • BR GAAP and US GAAP accounting experience with an active CRC registration.
  • CPA certification.
