Sales Account Specialist (Surface Treatment)

Location: Spain and Portugal, with support for Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa and travel across Europe.

Salary: Starting from €38,625 per annum.

hirify.global operates within Element Solutions Inc. and supplies specialty chemical systems, coatings, surface-treatment technologies, equipment, and wastewater-treatment solutions for industrial customers.

What you will do

• Manage and grow the aluminum surface treatment business and assigned accounts in Spain and Portugal.
• Provide frontline sales, technical support, and product training to aluminum extruders, anodizers, coaters, and job shops.
• Build business plans, market analyses, financial estimates, risk analyses, forecasts, and budgets with the line manager.
• Manage and negotiate key customer relationships and support new-business development and OEM approval processes.
• Work with R&D to translate customer needs and technology directions into product definitions.
• Represent the business at international organizations, surface-treatment fairs, and events when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, electronics, materials science engineering, or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience and experience in surface treatment.
• Spanish and English are required.
• Ability to analyze technical and business information, prepare reports and procedures, and present to customers and management.
• Willingness to travel and ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, confidentiality, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• Portuguese language skills.
• Experience with aluminum extrusion, anodizing, powder coating, conversion coatings, or related industrial applications.
