Superintendent – Maintenance (Surface Electrical & Control Systems) (Mining/Electrical Infrastructure): Leading maintenance, reliability, integrity, and continuous improvement for surface electrical infrastructure, power generation, HV/LV distribution, process plant equipment, instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA systems with an accent on safe and compliant operation at the Didipio Operation. Focus on reliability modelling, root cause failure analysis, asset life-cycle costing, risk mitigation, and technical governance of complex electrical and control systems.
Location: Didipio, Philippines; onsite, Monday to Friday

What you will do
- Lead maintenance, reliability, integrity, and continuous improvement for surface electrical infrastructure, power generation, HV/LV distribution, process plant equipment, instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- Oversee the safe and compliant operation and maintenance of power generation stations, the 69kV transmission line, and mine electrical reticulation systems.
- Apply reliability engineering methods including life-cycle costing, root cause failure analysis, reliability modelling, fit-for-purpose analysis, and equipment failure pattern assessment.
- Evaluate designs, technologies, project changes, risks, and improvement opportunities to maximize asset value and reliability.
- Act as a subject matter expert for communications, electrical, and dewatering equipment installation, maintenance, analysis, and repair.
- Provide technical direction, manage complex contractor issues, and liaise with Philippine regulatory authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) license in the Philippines is mandatory.
- At least 15 years of electrical engineering experience, including 10 years in mining or heavy industry.
- At least 5 years in senior maintenance leadership roles.
- Experience with HV transmission and distribution systems, power generation assets, PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Valid working rights in the Philippines are required; visa sponsorship is not available.
