Embedded Software (Firmware) Internship

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week in an HPE office.

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and validate software for networking products.
• Gather project requirements, design sub-modules, investigate technical issues, and identify and mitigate risks.
• Debug issues, develop fixes, and drive issue resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in technical discussions and communicate proposals, issues, and progress to technical and management teams.
• Deliver assigned tasks on time and maintain a high standard of software quality.
• Collaborate with module developers, hardware and manufacturing teams, architects, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Commitment to a 6-month full-time internship
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, tools, and processes.
• Knowledge of C programming.
• Ability to investigate issues, develop solutions, and apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, passionate about technology, and able to collaborate with global and cross-functional teams.
