System Analyst (Kafka)

Location: Kazakhstan

Salary: EUR 1,000–2,000 per month gross; final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, epics, and development tasks in Jira.
• Describe system interactions, data flows, event-driven architecture, and Kafka integrations.
• Design REST and SOAP services, JSON/XML data structures, and maintain API documentation in Swagger.
• Create technical documentation, knowledge-base materials, and Sequence, Activity, and ER diagrams.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, developers, and QA throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Validate integrations, test APIs, define application logic and notification systems, and prepare troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a System or Business Analyst.
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and synchronous and asynchronous communication.
• Experience with API design, Kafka, REST/SOAP, SQL, PostgreSQL, and relational databases.
• Proficiency in BPMN, UML, PlantUML, and tools including Jira, Confluence, Postman, Swagger, cURL, and Git.
• Understanding of inter-service authentication, token-based authorization, Keycloak, Bearer tokens, and the mobile application lifecycle.
• Intermediate English or higher required.
