Location: Prague, Czech Republic; hybrid arrangement with 60% of the week at office locations or local sites and the rest remotely

What you will do
- Lead and develop the Quality Control and Operational Standards teams across the Czech Republic.
- Ensure that only products meeting company specifications are received and distributed.
- Drive compliance with food safety, consumer protection, product safety, and operational standards requirements.
- Monitor new legislation and act as the key contact for state authorities and external organizations.
- Manage third-party service providers, performance KPIs, internal food safety audits, and pest control systems.
- Lead emergency product withdrawals and recalls, analyze performance data, and coordinate the food safety agenda with Legal, Product, Buying, Operations, and Distribution Centre teams.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent education.
- 5–6 years of experience in quality management, food safety, operational standards, retail compliance, or a related field.
- Native Czech or Slovak and advanced English at C1 level.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, consumer protection, and relevant legislation.
- Experience leading and developing teams, working with regulatory authorities, and managing stakeholders.
- Retail operations experience is required; strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are expected.
Nice to have
- Experience with audits, quality control systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in FMCG or a retail environment.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
