Director, Earned and Owned Strategy (AI Search)

Location: Remote, United States; available in most US states with some exclusions. Office hubs are available in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.

Salary: $118,000–$130,000 annual base salary, plus an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-level Earned & Owned strategy across SEO, Local SEO, Content Marketing, AI Search, Lifecycle Marketing, and Digital Experience.
• Act as the executive strategic lead for key accounts and translate business objectives into measurable growth roadmaps.
• Develop AI Search readiness frameworks and optimize content and technical foundations for emerging search experiences.
• Integrate AI-driven insights into forecasting, prioritization, creative planning, reporting, and operational workflows.
• Lead cross-functional campaign planning, ideation, launches, measurement, and content activations.
• Identify organic growth opportunities and support business development through executive presentations, thought leadership, and strategic consulting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience leading Earned & Owned Media programs across SEO, Content, Local SEO, or adjacent digital channels.
• Experience managing integrated digital marketing campaigns using cross-channel insights and collaboration.
• Working experience with web analytics and SEMRush or similar SEO platforms.
• Proven success with large-scale enterprise search and content transformation initiatives.
• Deep understanding of AI Search evolution and organic discoverability trends.
• Strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, presentation, and executive communication skills.
