Director, Regulatory Strategy Planning & Operations (Biotechnology)

Location: Tarrytown, New York, or Warren, New Jersey; 4 days per week on site. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Salary: $183,100–$305,200 annually

What you will do

• Lead strategic planning and operational activities across Regulatory Affairs, Global Patient Safety, and Development Quality.
• Coordinate objective setting, quarterly reporting, resource planning, budget oversight, and issue management.
• Drive strategic initiatives, project tracking, stakeholder management, and cross-functional alignment.
• Develop and maintain management reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
• Coordinate functional reviews, communications, meetings, team events, action tracking, and communication cascades.
• Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Corporate Communications, Talent Acquisition, and other internal functions on organizational and operational priorities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience, including planning and operations experience in a global development organization.
• BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Finance, Science/Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotechnology operations and drug development.
• Expertise with Microsoft Teams, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional strategic change initiatives and managing multiple projects.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, influencing, negotiation, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• MS, PhD, or MBA, particularly with experience supporting a science-based organization or function.
