Software Engineer, Agent Delivery (AI)

Location: Onsite in San Francisco or New York City, five days per week; approximately 25% travel. Select roles may be remote across the U.S., but this role is listed as onsite.

Salary: $135,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

hirify.global builds AI agents and supply chain software that automate manual workflows across the physical economy, including scheduling, appointment setting, data entry, and load management.

What you will do

• Lead customer deployments from problem definition and prototyping through production launch and iteration.
• Design and build production-grade AI agents, workflows, integrations, and supporting infrastructure.
• Work with customer operators, engineers, and executives to understand workflows and translate ambiguous requirements into technical solutions.
• Integrate agents with customer systems, data, APIs, authentication systems, and operational tools.
• Own architecture decisions across agent behavior, application logic, data, security, evaluations, and reliability.
• Debug production failures, improve agent quality, and turn deployment lessons into reusable product capabilities.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience building and owning production systems in high-growth startups or similarly demanding environments.
• Strong experience with APIs, integrations, authentication systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Proven ability to debug complex production systems.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with incomplete documentation and rapidly changing requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Availability to work onsite in San Francisco or New York five days per week and travel approximately 25%.
