Supervisor Quality Control Microbiology

Location: Onsite in Rensselaer, New York, United States. Second shift, Tuesday–Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.

Salary: $78,700–$128,700 annually.

What you will do

• Coordinate microbiological testing and monitoring activities in the quality control laboratory and manufacturing facility.
• Review test results, procedures, protocols, and quality system records.
• Organize laboratory investigations and assay troubleshooting.
• Support internal and regulatory audits while maintaining safety and current Good Manufacturing Practice standards.
• Manage personnel activities including performance evaluations, development, scheduling, and coaching.
• Communicate complex matters to management and drive projects supporting long-term laboratory goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive relevant experience, preferably in pharmaceutical microbiology.
• Supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Ability to work onsite during the Tuesday–Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM second shift.
• Experience with microbiology methods, environmental monitoring, aseptic techniques, and equipment troubleshooting.
