Boiler Technician

Location: Bulgari Resort Ranfushi, Maldives

What you will do

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues professionally.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and repairs on mechanical-room, kitchen, guestroom, and building equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical components, air-conditioning systems, refrigeration, controls, appliances, internet devices, and other hotel equipment.
• Maintain tools, parts, supplies, shut-off valves, inventories, and maintenance records.
• Perform painting, drywall and wood-trim repairs, light-bulb and A/C filter replacement, and interior and exterior landscaping maintenance.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout, safety, security, fire-prevention, housekeeping, and guest-service standards while coordinating with other shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance and interior or exterior surface preparation and painting.
• Driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to enter work-related information.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and perform work on stairs, ramps, ladders, and overhead or below-knee areas.

Nice to have

• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance.
• Knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic and electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, or general building systems.
