Cost Analyst

Location: Fully onsite at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, United States

Salary: USD $70,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Research and analyze budget issues across the Theater Area of Responsibility and assigned functional areas.
• Support the USARCENT Coalition Acquisition Review Board and other requirements review processes.
• Prepare and evaluate requirements by cost center, Work Breakdown Structure, and level of detail.
• Develop, analyze, and review USARCENT and Army supplemental funding appropriations.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses, develop independent cost estimates, and recommend courses of action.
• Prepare and brief reports for ARCENT G8 and the Contracting Officer's Representative.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in cost analysis, budgeting, or forecasting Department of Defense financial resources.
• Ability to work fully onsite at Shaw Air Force Base.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications.
• Knowledge of cost-estimating tools and models and military organizational structures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and independent-work skills.
