TL;DR
Data Science Specialist (AI) (Machine Learning/Fintech): Designing, developing, evaluating, and deploying scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions for digital payments with an accent on fraud prevention, chargeback risk, explainability, and production reliability. Focus on building classical Machine Learning models, production APIs and data pipelines, CI/CD deployment, monitoring, and collaboration across AI Engineering and MLOps.

What you will do
- Design, develop, evaluate, and deploy scalable Machine Learning and AI solutions for payment-related use cases.
- Build and optimize classical Machine Learning models using XGBoost, Random Forest, and Decision Trees.
- Develop fraud prevention, chargeback risk, and credit card payment risk models and strategies.
- Build and maintain production-grade AI APIs, data pipelines, and services.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, testing, validation, and continuous improvement for deployed models.
- Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, MLOps specialists, software engineers, and business stakeholders while mentoring team members.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in Data Science and Machine Learning modeling, including XGBoost, Random Forest, and Decision Trees.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience working with Machine Learning models in production.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and with deploying AI services and managing cloud resources.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, especially GitHub Actions, plus data engineering, ETL, and data pipeline architectures.
- Experience with ML monitoring and logging solutions such as CloudWatch or DataDog, along with awareness of security and compliance requirements.
- Conversational English proficiency is required for communication with international stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in fraud prevention, fraud detection, chargeback, payment risk, financial services, or fintech.
- Experience with neural networks, Docker, or close collaboration with MLOps and AI Engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
