- Design and support electrical harness layouts for spacecraft, including connector and backshell selection, wire selection, shielding, split locations, and harness lengths.
- Generate connector pinout tables from spacecraft interconnect diagrams and maintain harness bills of materials in the PLM system.
- Create documentation for electrical system schematics and harness designs.
- Develop test plans and procedures for avionics subsystems and components.
- Analyze and evaluate avionics circuits for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Participate in internal and customer-facing design reviews and collaborate on electronic assemblies for satellite and spacecraft programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or another engineering discipline.
- Experience with electrical engineering or avionics.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role due to program requirements.
- Eligibility to access ITAR-regulated technology is required for work in U.S. offices.
