Project Manager II, Transmission

Location: Westwood, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Regular travel to Westwood is required, with additional travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.

Annual salary: $122,700–$136,330, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Manage high-risk, large and complex transmission projects, including substations, transmission lines, interconnection agreements, and major project workstreams.
• Own project scope, schedules, budgets, documentation, and compliance with company policies, regulations, and laws.
• Coordinate regulatory approvals and work with regulators, local elected officials, municipal departments, external stakeholders, and senior management.
• Lead the evaluation and development of bid documents for engineering, design, construction, materials, and support systems.
• Represent Eversource at regulatory proceedings, municipal meetings, homeowner meetings, and other stakeholder engagements.
• Guide, coach, and manage team-member performance while developing less experienced personnel.

Requirements

• At least five years of project management or related experience, or demonstrated competencies comparable to Project Manager II experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; Finance, Business, an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience will be considered. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong project management, leadership, team-building, coaching, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to schedule, plan, and manage multiple complex transmission projects concurrently.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
• Must be able to work in the hybrid office schedule, travel between MA/CT/NH, and support emergency restoration assignments.
