TL;DR
Senior IT AI Engineer (Direct Contractor) (Enterprise AI/Full Stack): Building and supporting internal enterprise applications, system integrations, and AI-enabled workflows across business functions with an accent on full stack development, Salesforce customization, and applied generative AI. Focus on integrating LLM APIs, RAG, document intelligence, and agent-based automation while delivering secure, scalable solutions from design through production support.
Location: La Paz, Bolivia; hybrid work with 4 days per week in the La Paz office

develops label management and item-level tracking solutions through its BarTender platform for manufacturing, logistics, retail, healthcare, and food supply chains.
What you will do
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support internal business applications.
- Build frontend components, backend services, APIs, databases, and integrations across CRM, ERP, ITSM, and data platforms.
- Customize and extend Salesforce using Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flow, and related platform capabilities.
- Build AI-enabled workflows using LLM APIs, retrieval, document processing, and agent-based automation.
- Own technical delivery through production support, code reviews, sprint planning, and mentoring junior developers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Full stack experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue, plus a backend language such as C#, Java, Node, or Python.
- Hands-on experience integrating generative AI or LLM services into enterprise applications or business workflows.
- Experience with APIs, webhooks, middleware, system integrations, relational databases, SQL, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with cloud services, GitHub, automated testing, CI/CD, authentication, and authorization technologies.
- Professional written and spoken English; authorization to work in Bolivia and a Police Clearance Certificate are required.
Nice to have
- Salesforce integrations with ERP, ITSM, Finance, or Customer Support systems.
- Experience with MuleSoft, n8n, Zapier, or similar integration and automation platforms.
- Experience with RAG, vector databases, AI agents, prompt engineering, semantic search, or document intelligence.
- Salesforce Platform Developer, architecture, cloud, or applied AI certification.
