What you will do
- Triage security alerts, investigate incidents, and support root-cause analysis.
- Conduct vulnerability scans, prioritize risks, and collaborate on patch deployment.
- Participate in compliance audits and help implement corrective actions.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain security solutions including monitoring and detection tools.
- Track emerging threats, recommend proactive defenses, and maintain security documentation.
- Work with IT teams to integrate security into workflows and support security awareness training.
Requirements
- Experience in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, system administration, or a related technical role; internships are considered.
- Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, identity and access management, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Familiarity with EDR, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, email security, or cloud security platforms.
- Experience administering Windows and/or Linux systems and performing basic network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, or MITRE ATT&CK.
- Professional proficiency in English is required. Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills are expected.

- Basic scripting or automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- German language skills.
