Mid-Level Software Developer (Python)

Location: Remote / Serbia

hirify.global builds and supports a clinical trial platform with automated testing infrastructure.

What you will do

• Analyze QA, UAT, and production bug escapes with customer support and QA teams.
• Write automated tests that reproduce bugs and verify fixes.
• Fix identified software bugs rather than only creating regression tests.
• Build automated test coverage for prioritized platform functionality.
• Improve shared test frameworks, helpers, and reusable code for the whole development team.
• Contribute AI-based capabilities to test tooling.

Requirements

• Strong Python development skills with a backend and API-layer focus.
• Experience with PyTest or similar Python testing frameworks.
• Experience with React in frontend and end-to-end testing contexts.
• Strong software development skills and experience writing clean, reusable, maintainable automated tests.
• Proficiency with Git, Agile development, SQL databases, and API testing.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience using Playwright for E2E test development.
• Experience building or extending shared test frameworks and helper libraries.
• Exposure to AI-based test tooling, agentic workflows, or AI agents and skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
