TL;DR
Freelance Software Tester With Smart TVs (Smart TV/Titan OS): Testing a streaming app on Philips, Vestel, and JVC TVs running Titan OS with an accent on functional coverage, playback, navigation, localization, and live events. Focus on executing test cases, reproducing defects with evidence, and evaluating account, subtitle, audio, and content-discovery behavior.

Location: Remote, but must be physically located in Italy during October and November

Pay rate: Starting at 15 USD per hour, paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.

hirify.global is a global software testing company operating its own freelance testing network.

What you will do

  • Install streaming app builds on supported Smart TVs using provided instructions.
  • Execute functional test cases covering navigation, playback, login and account behavior, subtitles, audio, content discovery, localization, live events, and overall quality.
  • Report defects with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and recordings.
  • Provide feedback on issues identified during each test run.

Requirements

  • Must be physically located in Italy during October and November.
  • Must be comfortable navigating a streaming app in Italian. Native or bilingual Italian is preferred.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Access to a Smart TV running Titan OS: Philips, Vestel, or JVC.
  • Availability for approximately 2–4 hours per test run, with some runs lasting up to 12 hours.
  • Software testing experience is helpful but not required.

Nice to have

  • Native or bilingual Italian proficiency.
  • Previous software testing experience.
